More than 8.75 Billion pounds of clothing end up in landfills each year. That's enough clothes for every person in the U.S. Even though Americans are increasingly aware of how individual actions can impact our environment, we are currently only recycling 15 percent of our used clothes.

Textile and clothing recycling provides numerous environmental and economic benefits for our planet. Not only does it prevent post-consumer textile waste from entering the waste stream, recycling efforts do not create any new hazardous waste or harmful by-products.

Clothing recycling is one of the most efficient recycling industries. Nearly 100% used textiles are recyclable!

Big Difference, Little Effort

Paper mills use 40% less energy to make paper from recycled paper than they do making paper from virgin timber.

A Ton of paper made from recycled fibers conserves 7000 gallons of water.

1/3 of all plastic beverage containers recycled in North America will be recycled into carpet in Georgia.

How YOU can help...

Heavenly Angels In Need is an organization that helps grieving parents of babies that die in the hospital who would like to see their baby dressed in burial attire but cannot afford it.

Heavenly Angels receive donated wedding dresses, take them apart and use them to make burial garments for parents to bury their babies in. Your wedding dress donation is directly used for a worthy cause.

Get your bridesmaids in on this idea too, since they also take donated prom dresses and bridesmaids dresses.

Thank You for your part in Reducing your waste, re-using, and recycling.
